Evelyn Moreno is a 14 year-old musician, actress, and model from Katy, Texas, a suburb west of Houston. Evelyn started drumming at age 7 and quickly fell in love with making music. She has since added bass guitar, vocals, and percussion to her repertoire. She takes music lessons at School of Rock in Katy, where she is a mermber of the by audition-only House Band, and takes part in the school’s Performance Program. Evelyn is also a percussionist in her high school marching band, and is a member of the swim team.

Evelyn’s passion for performing live music onstage also led her to begin acting. She has appeared in national campaigns for companies like Academy Sports & Outdoors, as well as local commercials for organizations like the Houston Zoo. She has been featured on an episode of SuperHeroKids, a kids’ YouTube channel with more than 7 million subscribers and more than 4 billion views. Evelyn has even served as a co-host on Houston Life, the local NBC station’s magazine show.

Evelyn is the founder of the Houston band, Garbage Girlfriend, where she drums and sings with her friends Eden, Malia, and Maya. The girls met at School of Rock in Katy and love performing together at venues throughout greater Houston.

Evelyn lives at home with her parents and two dogs, Twilight and Dobby. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, going to rock concerts, and eating all the sushi that she can.
